Так как никто не ответил пока, я прошлась по международному интернету (возможно, вы захотите поискать на русских серверах). И вправду, информации очень мало, почти ничего, зато предложение продуктов большое -но Вам не реклама нужна, и неизвестно, что у Вас там доступно. Более или менее нужный (не вполне удовлетворительный, однако) ответ был найден такой (если Вы читаете по-английски):
Patent/Patent Croc - clean up
Take care when wearing patent leather shoes, as they attract static friction which may cause the shoes to stick together. We apply a silicone finish in manufacture to stop this happening and recommend using a proprietary patent cleaner for after care.
Wipe over shoes with a damp sponge or cloth then polish using a dry soft cloth
Note: We strongly recommend that only proprietary patent cleaners are used because non patent cleaners and polishes can cause the shoes to stick together on contact when wearing
Don't forget the heels!
To repair damaged heels use heel renovator to touch in the damaged areas or, if leather covered, treat as the shoe upper.
Keeping shoes fresh
Freshen up shoes by wiping over the inside with a damp sponge. Be careful not to make too wet! Wipe out with paper towels and allow to dry naturally
Keeping shoes in shape
Use shoe trees to stop creases and wrinkles forming in between wearing shoes. Alternatively, lightly stuff the shoes with white tissue paper
To keep shoes in pristine condition, keep them in the original box and tissue paper.
Что означает, надевать пореже, убирать подальше завернув в папиросную бумагу, держать форму, когда туфли не носятся, а также... чистить влажной тряпочкой внутри и снаружи, не забывая о каблуке. В другом месте рекомендовалось протирать туфли минеральное желе, или petroleum jelly, что на моих туфлях вызвало помутнение лака.
Также:
Patent Leather: These require a treatment of mild soap and water to remove any residue. Buff to a brilliant shine using a soft flannel cloth and apply edge dressing.
Протирать от грязи раствором деликатного мыла, вытереть досуха и отполировать фланелью...
Британцы советуют:
To keep your patent leather shoes shiny and supple, rub Vaseline on the leather, leave for a few minutes and then buff them up, this will stop them from drying out and cracking. If your new shoes are too stiff and uncomfortable, rub castor oil in well and then leave them to dry.
Для предотвращения пересушивания и трещин на поверхности: втереть равномерно вазелин по всей поверхности, оставить на несколько минут, затем отполировать (мягкой тканью). Если новые туфли слишком жесткие, втереть касторовое масло и оставить для высыхания. Мне не ясно, касторка втирается внутри или снаружи, но я бы не рискнула употреблять ее на лаковой поверхности...
Не знаю, представляют ли эти советы какую-либо ценность, но, может, лучше, чем ничего...
